17 - Conservatory of Music


The Conservatory of Music of Victoria, BC. The sanctuary presented ideal acoustic conditions for a new conservatory (chamber) of music. 

Non-existence of drawings required precise documentation and production of interior and exterior elevations. A volumetric frame of the complex building, with all 3D dimensions and levels was created to assist the seismic upgrading structural project. 

The acoustic project also used the sanctuary 3D information for precisely finding critical interior volumes/areas.

Accessibility and Precision: The sanctuary plan and sections - completely non-uniform levels and forms were efficiently documented with a single interior photogrammetric model.
