With existing maps, aerial and close-range digital photogrammetry, we create Digital "As-Is" 3D Models with CAD Thematic Information, as a decision support tool for utilization on:

• Evaluation of existing conditions

This planning tool and methodology, are exemplified on the diagrams of what we call "Smart Planning".

On a single CAD file with a multitude of layers, all 3D "existing conditions and land use", as well as all planned interventions, can be easily manipulated for visioning exercises, linked with databases, printed, projected, used for public input and technical input, etc. - We call this "Smart Planning". 

All images show different views of the same AutoCAD file. Shaded areas correspond to the existing land use. 

With the land use layer deactivated, buildings, streets, sidewalks, urban furniture, vegetation, public buildings, non-used areas, etc., can be seen in plan as well as in 3D view. - "Smart Planning"
